The Full Story
This Brookvale commercial project required a 280-square-metre warehouse floor slab that needed to meet commercial-grade specifications for heavy vehicle traffic and industrial racking loads.
We worked closely with the builder and engineer to ensure the slab design met all structural requirements. The pour included a vapour barrier, heavy-gauge steel reinforcement, and a concrete pump to place the high-strength mix across the large floor area efficiently.
The slab was finished with a power trowel to achieve a smooth, level surface suitable for the warehouse operation. We then saw-cut control joints in a precise grid pattern to manage any shrinkage cracking — a critical step for commercial slabs of this size.
The entire project was completed within the builder's two-week window, allowing the fit-out team to start on schedule. Commercial work like this requires precision, coordination, and the right equipment — and that's what we delivered.
