Decorative Concrete Finish — Seaforth

This Seaforth homeowner had just completed a major house renovation and wanted their tired outdoor area to match the new look. The brief was specific: the concrete had to colour-match the warm charcoal tones of the new exterior cladding.

We prepared three sample boards with different concrete colour mixes and presented them to the client on-site, held up against the house walls. This process took an extra day but ensured the client was 100% confident in the colour before we poured a single square metre.

The pour was done in one continuous session to ensure colour consistency across the entire area. We used an integral colour mix rather than surface stain — meaning the colour goes all the way through the concrete, not just on top. This means it won't fade, chip, or wear away over time.

The finished surface was given a smooth trowel finish and sealed with a satin-finish sealer that enhances the colour depth without adding shine. The outdoor area now flows naturally from the house, creating a cohesive look that ties the whole property together.
